Pure Energy Services Ltd. (“Pure Energy”) is an oilfield services Company headquartered in Calgary, Alberta. Pure Energy conducts operations in the Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin (“WCSB”) in Canada. Pure Energy also operates in the United States (“US”) through its wholly-owned subsidiary, Pure Energy Services (USA) Inc. in Colorado, Wyoming, North Dakota and Pennsylvania.

Pure Energy’s shares are listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange and trade under the symbol PSV.

Pure Energy commenced operations in 2001 and has grown both organically and through strategic acquisition. In 2009, Pure Energy merged with Canadian Sub-Surface Energy Services Corp., which has provided a greater regional diversity and a larger equipment fleet. Its regional diversity and the large equipment fleet allows for the transfer of equipment and personnel between geographic regions as customer demand warrants.

Pure Energy focuses on two main service lines: cased hole wireline and frac flowback services. It operates through 17 field locations in Canada and 5 field locations in the US. Pure Energy has become one of the largest providers of frac flowback and cased hole wireline in Canada and continues to expand the geographic coverage for its services both in Canada and the United States. The majority of Pure Energy’s business involves the provision of oilfield services relating to the completion of new oil and natural gas wells, producing wells and wells scheduled for abandonment.

Pure Energy has developed expertise in servicing resource plays being developed using enhanced drilling and completion technologies for both oil and natural gas such as hydraulic fracturing and horizontal drilling techniques.

Pure Energy is able to focus on the introduction of new technologies in its services such as PureLight, Pure’s fiber optic logging services to monitor downhole conditions along the length of a fiber optic cable. Acoustic sensing technology and temperature sensing technology provide an enhanced ability to monitor production from either within or outside of tubing which will assist producers in optimizing their well stimulation, completions and production programs and related costs.
